SEASONAL BREAKS

We are able to offer you a break deliberately chosen to make the most use of local events, and seasons - as you see here the local countryside abounds with natural produce, walnuts, chestnuts, and mushrooms in Autumn.  

There are facilities here to cook your own finds or freeze them to return with. Plenty of good cheap wine in the supermarkets or locally to drink with your cooking! On average about €3.00 (£2.00) a bottle of reasonable Cabernet Sauvignon!

 

For birdwatchers, entomologists, walkers and natural history enthusiasts the area is wonderful - you cannot have much better then here, right on your doorstep, with many rare birds and butterflies visiting! There are safe and delightful walks in the woods and gorge, appart from Le Paradou being on the route of Jacques de Compostelle.
